Hello!
I would very much appreciate some input on the following problem. I have
searched the Internet extensively with no solution.
I have a AVM B1 PnP card in a SuSE 9.3 sytem with current
patches.
# uname -a
Linux freja 2.6.11.4-21.7-default #1 Thu Jun 2 14:23:14 UTC 2005 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
YaST finds the CAPI 2.0 driver for me and creates
/etc/capi.conf:
#SuSEconfig.isdn generated
# card file proto io irq mem cardnr options
fcpnp - - - - -
#b1isa b1.t4 DSS1 0x150 11 - 0
The last line is a test I made with information from the
Internet, no real difference.
Dmesg gives:
ISDN-subsystem unloaded
capi20: Rev 1.1.2.7: started up with major 68 (middleware+capifs)
fcpnp: unsupported module, tainting kernel.
fcpnp: AVM FRITZ!Card PnP driver, revision 0.6.0
fcpnp: (fcpnp built on Jun 2 2005 at 20:52:00)
CSLIP: code copyright 1989 Regents of the University of California
ISDN subsystem Rev: 1.1.2.3/1.1.2.3/1.1.2.2/1.1.2.3/1.1.2.2/1.1.2.2 loaded
capidrv: Rev 1.1.2.2: loaded
# lsmod | grep capi
capidrv 28852 0
isdn 133484 1 capidrv
capi 17600 0
capifs 5768 2 capi
kernelcapi 45856 5 capidrv,fcpnp,capi,b1isa,b1
# lsmod | grep isdn
isdn 133484 1 capidrv
slhc 7424 1 isdn
Capiinfo gives:
# capiinfo
capi not installed - No such device or address (6)
B.t.w, the application I am trying to get going is asteisk with
the latest chan_capi-cm drivers. It also says "capi not
installed". I had a very similar problem with another card, a
Diva Server 4BRI-8M, same Linux version, but an smp-kernel. I
finally solved it with a firmwareupgrade.
Thanks in advance: Håkan
