linux-avmb1:Fritz DSL SL hangs after a week

This is probably not the right mailing list, but I haven't
found a more appropriate one yet. It is an AVM card though,
and it sits next to a B1-PCI.
I have a home gateway running SuSE 9.2 prof with a Fritz
card DSL SL. It works OK for (approx) one week, and then
I loose the internet connection. I can try to restart the
network, but then the ppp-connection (which gets renamed
to dsl0) is not restored. I thought I could try to rmmod
the fcdslsl module when all networking is stopped, but
it is still `in use', probably by the [fcdslsl_s] process,
which looks like a kernel process, and I don't see how that
could be killed. What is suspicious that this morning, when
this problem occured, the fcdslsl_s process had spent about
88 minutes of CPU (over one week), where it usually takes
about a minute per day. So it seems like the problem is
in there.
I don't see any updates that apply, or discussions of this
matter, and I'm also not so confident that I could solve
this myself.
Any hints would be appreciated.
