linux-avmb1:no data received ??

I have got the same problem frequently with analog fax-machines, e.g.

additional information).

I have activated this parameter because i thought otherwise old analog 
fax-machines will be rejected. I found this out in some tests. Are there 
possible other reasons for the rejection?
