linux-l: bin mir unsicher mit tar Backup...

Hi,

ich hab gerade mal wieder ein Backup mit tar gemacht aber beim testen
des Archivs merkwürdiges festgestellt... Die Permissions stimmen, aber
warum nicht alle Owner der Files/Verzeichnisse?

Zum Test hab ich mal folgendes gemacht:

mero:[/root] #tar cvpX ExcludeBack.lst /home/carstenw/
[...]

Zum Testen ausgepackt :

mero:[tst] #tar vpx
[···]

Find ich *sehr* beunruhigend, da meine Backups dann alle mehr oder
weniger unbrauchbar sind im Falle eines Falles. Oder (mach ich mal
wieder was flasch)?
