tja, wenn du im kernel apm an und ignore user suspend aus hast, dann
sollte es gehen. geht's nicht kann dein bios nich. schick doch mal den
auszug aus dmesg, der um apm geht - meiner sieht so aus:
APM BIOS version 1.2 Flags 0x03 (Driver version 1.2)
    Entry f000:5314 cseg16 f000 dseg 40 cseg len ffff, dseg len ffff
	Connection version 1.1
	AC off line, battery status high, battery life 87%
