Und Du bist Dir sicher, dass nicht schon hier das Problem liegt? Hast Du denn
ppp in den Kernel einkompiliert? Bzw. hast Du es als Modul kompiliert?

Die Karte scheint naemlich auch von Kernel 2.2.x korrekt erkannt zu werden.
