ich habe auch noch mit "E-Mail" zu k"ampfen. 

 Zum Header:
zitiert aus RFC0822, STANDARD FOR THE FORMAT OF, ARPA INTERNET TEXT
MESSAGES, August 13, 1982, Revised by David H. Crocker (Nach RFC2500
June 1999 immer noch Standard, Protocol: MAIL Name: Format of
Electronic Mail Messages); und nun im rfc original Format: 

     3.4.8.  FOLDING LONG HEADER FIELDS

        Each header field may be represented on exactly one line  con-
        sisting  of the name of the field and its body, and terminated
        by a CRLF; this is what the parser sees.  For readability, the
        field-body  portion of long header fields may be "folded" onto
        multiple lines of the actual field.  "Long" is commonly inter-
        preted  to  mean greater than 65 or 72 characters.  The former
        length serves as a limit, when the message is to be viewed  on
        most  simple terminals which use simple display software; how-
        ever, the limit is not imposed by this standard.

Als Liebhaber der weiter oben erw"ahnten `simple terminals which use
simple display software' (seinen Text formatiert jeder selbst!), bin
ich stets dankbar f"ur das Einhalten von `rechts au"sen ist
*aller sp"atestens* bei column 70 Schlu"s'. 

Mit Deiner Wahl column 75  kann ich aber auch noch leben; zumal Dein
rares straightes header field `Content-Type: text/plain' meinem erst
halb konfigurierten Mail Handler `mh' genauso gut wie das "ahnlich
rare `Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii' bekommt.
