habe ich den Eindruck, dort könnten Deine Probleme liegen...

Vielleicht solltest Du mal die Kernel-Maillingliste lesen[1], oder
die entsprechende Newsgruppe (linux.dev.kernel) und vielleicht
hilft auch in Blick auf  http://linux24.sourceforge.net
