Ich vermute, Du meinst die Zeile der Form
 Last login: Sun Jan 30 20:34:48 from ...

~> strings `which login` | grep Last
Last login: %.*s

(Aha, login ist zustaendig.)

~> man -P'grep last' login
 checking of mail and the printing of the last login time 
 and message of the day).  Otherwise, if /var/log/lastlog
 exists, the last login time is printed (and the current
 login is recorded).

(Aha, mal /var/login/lastlog anschauen...)

~> less /var/log/lastlog
[muell]

(Hm, also nicht.)

~> apropos lastlog
lastlog (8)          - examine lastlog file

~> lastlog

(denke, das is' was Du suchst...)
