Ist (halbwegs) gefixt, einfach ein Update einspielen:

"This version of xcdroast does not work with normal user. You should 
 use this by root. xcdroast now drops sgid, because of Gtk+
 upstream change (Gtk+ does not allow suid/sgid)                                   
 (This change of xcdroast is temporary, while upstream fix will be done)""
