Warum läuft denn mysql gleich viermal und apache zweimal?

Die letzten Zeilen vor dem Absturz lauten meistens:

piped_log_spawn: unable to fork(): Cannot allocate memory
piped_log_maintenance: unable to respawn '/root/confixx//pipelog.pl': Cannot
allocate memory
[Tue Dec 16 17:53:28 2003] [error] server reached MaxClients setting,
consider raising the MaxClients setting

Nach einem Reboot stürzt Apache ungefähr nach 5 Minuten ab.

Ich werde jetzt die SQLDumps retten und dann den Server neu installieren
lassen und alles neu installieren. Danach lasse ich meine Finger von den
Eingeweiden.

Was sagt denn "ps ax" dazu?

Oder kommt die Shell mit gleichen Fehler zurück :)?
