[linux-l] Software-Raid Fragen

Hi,

hab da ein paar Linux-Software-Raids. Eigentlich möchte ich drei
Platten mit RAID5 betreiben und eine spare haben. 

mdadm --detail /dev/md2

find ich etwas komisch (ist bei drei Installationen so):

Eingerichtet mit --raid-drives=3, die Spare anschließend
hinzugefügt. Die Tabelle unten stimmt ja noch, aber wieso kommt
er auf 5 (!) Total devices und 1 Failed device? Und welches soll
das sein? Seh da nur active sync und spare, also doch prima?!
Wieso ist state "dirty, no-errors"? Dieses RAID set ist per Hand
mit mdadm erstellt. Ich hab noch zwei solcher Sets (von jemand
anders erstellt, ich glaub, eines davon mit yast2). Alle sind
"dirty, no-errors". Das RAID hab ich gestern neu gemacht (und mit
--zero-superblock angefangen, um wirklich sicherzugehen, daß nix
reinstreut, was ich nicht mehr möchte). 

Komisch ist auch:

Warum steht hier nicht "spare" dran? Hier stimmen die Zahlen
schon mal besser, find ich, bloß trozdem "dirty, no-errors"?!

Was ist da los?

Ich hab auf das md2 ein LVM gemacht, wegen "für später
vielleicht". Weiß jemand, ob das bei einer SuSE 8.2 beim booten
automatisch hochkommt?
