Also, die erste Meldung dazu, die ich noch auf dem Schirm sehe, ist:

fsck.ext3 /dev/sdb1 failed (status 0x8). Run manually!

und später, zum Schluss:

fsck failed for at least one filesystem (not /).
Please repair manually and reboot.
The root file system is is already mounted read-write.

Attention: Only CONTROL-D will reboot the system in this
maintanance mode.shutdown or reboot will not work.

Give root password for login:
(none):~ # fsck /dev/sdb1
fsck 1.38 (30-Jun-2005)
e2fsck 1.38 (30-Jun-2005)
fsck.ext3: No such file or directory while trying to open /dev/sdb1

The superblock could not be read or does not describe a correct ext2
filesystem.  If the device is valid and it really contains an ext2
filesystem (and not swap or ufs or something else), then the superblock
is corrupt, and you might try running e2fsck with an alternate superblock:
    e2fsck -b 8193 <device>
fsck.ext3 /dev/sdb1 failed (status 0x8). Run manually!
(none):~ # cat /proc/partitions
major minor  #blocks  name

   8     0   78150744 sda
   8     1    3148708 sda1
   8     2   74999452 sda2
(none):~ #

sdb2 ist also nicht dabei. Was sagt mir das jetzt?
