Hallo Liste,
ich habe immer noch Schwierigkeiten, mir bei Linux selbst zu helfen.
Synaptic schreibt: "dwww reads all on-line documentation with a WWW
browser: All installed on-line documentation will be served via a local
HTTP server. When possible, dwww converts the documentation to HTML. You
need to install both a CGI-capable HTTP server and a WWW browser to read
the documentation."
Ich möchte gern dwww benutzen, weil ich oft Dokumentation zu einem
Debian-Befehl nicht finde, weil sie sich auf meinem Rechner irgendwo
versteckt. Ich habe deshalb das Programmpaket dwww installiert.
man dwww fordert mich auf: " To use dwww, load the URL
http://localhost/dwww/index.html. If you have a web browser
installed, you can also just run the command which loads the URL."
Wenn ich in meinen Browser Epiphany "http://localhost/dwww/index.html"
eingebe, meldet er: "Not Found. The requested URL /dwww/index.html was
not found on this server. Apache/1.3.34 Server at localhost Port 80."
Was habe ich falsch gemacht?
Fröhliche Weihnachten!
