[linux-l] usb-seriell-converter

Hi, 

Ich habe einen usb-Seriell-Converter und moechte ihn unter Linux in 
betrieb nehmen. Leider wird er z.b. von Knoppix nicht erkannt. Wie 
bekomme ich das hin?
