Der Treiber ist zwar frei, die Firmware aber nicht. Falls du 
sie nicht hast, bekommst du sie auf der ipw2200-Seite.
Die entpackst du dann in /usr/lib/hotplug/firmware und dann 
sollte es funktionieren.
