Aus zwei Manpages (mount und smbmount) zwischen den Zeilrn herausgelesen:

mount:

       -o     Options are specified with a -o flag followed by a comma separated string of  options.   Some  of
              these  options  are  only  useful when they appear in the /etc/fstab file.  The following options
              apply to any file system that is being mounted (but not every file system actually honors them  -
              e.g., the sync option today has effect only for ext2, ext3 and ufs):

user und users sind hier.. muessen aber nicht von jedem FS implementiert 
sein.

Weiter:

Mount options for smbfs
       Just like nfs, the smbfs implementation expects a binary argument (a struct smb_mount_data) to the mount
       system  call.  This  argument is constructed by smbmount(8) and the current version of mount (2.12) does
       not know anything about smbfs.

Und unter smb_mount sehe ich keine Option, die user(s) umsetzen koennte.
