Da steht nur was von *lokal* modifizierten Versionen; das beinhaltet
keine Erlaubnis, diese weiterzugeben.

Es steht nichts direkt von Restriktionen im Weiterverbreiten, aber auch
nicht, dass Weiterverbreiten modifizierter Versionen erlaubt ist. (Außer
in Form von Patches, und das auch nur für geringfügige Modifikationen.)
Somit greifen die normalen Bestimmungen der Urheberrechts -- keine
Weiterverbreitung modifizierter Versionen. Kein freie Software im
üblichen Sinn.

Die Lizenz ist zugegebener Maßen nicht wirklich klar -- was die Sache
nur noch schlimmer macht.

Falsch -- danach kann es *nicht* in Debian rein. Schließlich darf Debian
sehr wohl zu kommerziellen Zwecken verkauft werden. Das dürfte der Grund
sein, wieso PINE nicht nur im main-Repository von Debian fehlt (da es
aus Oben genannten und auch diesem Grund den DFSG widerspricht), sondern
nichtmal in non-free drin ist.

Das ist erlaubt.

Das ist gar nicht erlaubt, außer in ganz speziellen Fällen.
