[linux-l] Informationen zu Kernel-Failure

Hall an alle,
ich durfte heute morgen auf meinem Debian Sid (Kernel 2.6.32-5) mal wieder ein
Kernel-Failure erleben. Auf diesem Rechner (Fujitsu-Siemens Laptop) mit Debian
Sid ist dies zwar das erste Mal, aber auf einem Thinkpad mit Debian Testing
kam dies innerhalb von 3 Monaten so ein halbes Dutzend mal vor, daher habe ich
mich bei Debian fast schon ein bisschen an die "Unannehmlichkeit" gewöhnt. Da
erfahrungsgemäß nach einem solchen Vorfall, nichts mehr wirklich rund läuft,
das heißt viele Programme stürzen plötzlich ab, installiere ich das System
danach dann immer komplett neu.
Nun meine Frage, wo kann ich den am besten Informationen zu dem Kernel Failure
finden, das heißt, welche Log-Dateien sollte ich mir alles anschauen?

Unwahrscheinlich, dass jemand von Euch sich auf die Schnelle darauf einen Reim
machen kann, zur Information wollte ich dies trotzdem in die Mail aufnehmen.
Dmesg gab keine Fehler aus. Wo könnte ich denn noch nachschauen? Allzu viel
sagt mir der Output vom Syslog jetzt nicht.
