Hallo,
Nachdem ich meinen Uralt-HP-LaserJet-500 mangels Parallelport am neuen
Computer nicht mehr betreiben kann, habe ich mir einen
HP-LaserJet-P1102w geksaut, nicht ahnend, daß HP für seine neueren
LaserJets nun einen properitären plugin benötigt.
Einerseits hat die SuSE-12.1 in ihrer hplip-3.11.0 diesen Drucker, aber
den Plugin kann ich nicht nicht finden.
Ich kriege bei Yast-Printer ein Popup:
"HP Device requires proprietary plug-in wich is missing.
 Press Next to continue plugin-installation

 Please enter the Administrator (root) password to continue.

 Command: hp-plugin '-u' '--required' '-reason' 'O' 'To_ir ???

 Password:

 Failed to install Plug-in.
 Either you have chosen to skip the Plug-in installation  or entered
incorrect Password."

Mit hp-setup in der Rootconsole gibt es ein anderes Popup:

"Driver Plug-in Installation
 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
 An additional driver plug-in is required to operate this printer.
 You may download the plug-in direcktly from an HP authorized server
(recommended), or,
 if you already have a copy of the file, you can specify a path to file
(advanced).

 This plugin will enable printing suport
 
 -----------------
 Automatic mode will install the full HPLIP solution with the most
common options.
 Custom mode allows you to choose installation options to fit specific
requirements.

 Please choose the installation mode (a=automatic*, c=custom, q=quit) : a

 Initializing. Please wait..."

und dann passiert nichts mehr.
Auch die neue hplip-3.11.12 hilft nicht weiter.

Wo finde ich den benötigten properitären driver-plugin für den Drucker.
Bei custom müßte ich ja eine url angeben.

Ich hoffe, man kann mir helfen.
