Ich entschuldige die Störung, aber ich bin der Verzweiflung nahe... Nachdem ich von einem Freund das SuseLinux 6.4 abgekauft habe, versuche ich es verzweifelt zum laufen zu bringen. Nachdem das Laden diverser Module nicht geklappt hatte, beschloss ich meinen eigenen Kernel zu kompilieren. Das Ergebnis liegt anbei.... Hier mein System: PIII 650 Mhz auf Ausus P3B-F Motherboard 256 MB RAM Adaptec 2940UW-SCSI Controller Grafikkarte GeForce256 (3D-Prophet SSE) Soundkarte Soundblaster Live! Value TV-Karte Hauppauge WinTV Primio (BT878) Netzwerkkarte von Railtech 10 Mbit 3 SCSI-Platten (1 davon ist Bootplatte = sda, sdb, sdc) 3 IDE-Platten (1 davon ist komplett Linux = hda, hdb, hdc) 1 SCSI-CD-ROM 1 IDE-Brenner Das Hauptbetriebssystem ist Win98SE (Tschuldigung), das sich auf der ersten SCSI-Platte befindet. Linux befindet sich auf der Primary-Mater-IDE-Platte und wird per LILO im MBR gebootet (root=hda3). Lilo ist per Lilo.conf korrekt konfiguriert (Plattenreihenfolge-Mischsystem-BIOS). Das Booten klappt reibungslos per Bootdisk, wie auch per loadlin aus dem Dos. Nun, das Problem ist aber, dass diverse Module nicht geladen werden (Soundkarte und SCSI). Auch wenn die modules.conf, wie bei V6.3 "angepasst" wird. Ist ja nicht so wichtig... Aber das Kernelkompilieren hätte wenigstens klappen können ! Was mache ich nur falsch ??? Bitte um Hilfe !
