Ich hatte mal ein ähnliches Problem, die Scripte waren alle auf
Auswahl konfiguriert und nicht auf Einwahl, und irgendwo unter
/etc/ppp/ip.down (oder so ungefähr) lag ein Script,
das stillvergnügt "route del default" machte. Was ja für 
Rauswahl auch Sinn machen kann.
Also fröhliches Suchen.
