Meine Antwort ist wohl zu spät, aber dann halt fürŽs nächste mal:

Partition Magic (DOS, kommerz), FIPS (DOS, frei) und Parted (Linux,
frei) können die die Grösse der Partition "auf-dem-Fluge" verändern.
Allerdings gibt dir keines dieser Programme eine absolute
Funktionsgarantie, weshalb auf jeden Fall ein Backup gemacht werden
sollte.

Parted ist afaik schon in mancher Distribution integriert - nein ich
weiß nich in welcher oder so...

 disklabels/partition tables, as well as a 'loop' (raw disk)
 type which allows use on RAID/LVM. Filesystems supported are
 ext2, fat (FAT16 and FAT32) and linux-swap. Parted can also
 detect hfs (Mac OS), ntfs, reiserfs and ufs filesystems, but
 cannot create/remove/resize/check these filesystems yet.

Zeichen, dann spassiges Piepsen, und dann springt plötzlich der
