Müssen hier keine Backslashes ans Ende der Zeilen? So ist das
jedenfalls hier bei mir.

Aus der muttrc-Manpage:
|       A "\" at the end of a line can be used to  split  commands
|       over  multiple lines, provided that the split points don't
|       appear in the middle of command names.

Es ist allerdings verwunderlich, dass mutt trotzdem keinen Fehler
meldet.
